~ The Founding Fathers ~
"Imagine A World...
Where The Original American Idols...
Teach Us To Declare Our Independence..
.. And Rock The Nation!
SYNOPSIS:
THE FOUNDING FATHERS opens with a present day history
teacher who can't stirs his students' passion for American History.
After being knocked unconscious, he has a "Wizard of Oz" type dream
where these historic figures - Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin,
along with villains King George, Aaron Burr & Benedict Arnold - are in
an over-the-top pioneering arena rock band c. 1976 and their story and
songs parallel the story of The American Revolution.
THE FOUNDING FATHERS is a musical rockumentary
in the style of "Spinal Tap" crossed with The American Revolution;
Think KISS in red, white & blue - with a soundtrack that plays like
a long lost album from that era - an homage to the late 70's FM radio
ala "Destroyer", "Bat Out of Hell" & "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road".

~ "LIBERTY OR DEATH" ~ ~ "CONSTITUTION MAN"~
I have the right to Freedom Flying high like an eagle
I've already paid my dues Soaring oh so free
I have the right to live the life I choose I've gotta go alone now
You can't tell me how It's my destiny
You can't tell me why It's time for me to go now
You can't tell me how to live my life And make it on my own
I'm not coming from the right It's the birth of a new nation
I'm not coming from the left Of spirits having flown
I shout it out loud with my dying breath
Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death Don't look back in anger
Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death Don't look back at all
Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death A mother's child is grown now
Until my dying breath It's up and walking tall
Sitting on your throne There's no need for fighting
On the other side of the pond - you think No time for that anymore
All you've gotta do is wave your magic wand We'll always be together
But you're so out of touch Same ocean, different shore- 'Cause I'm a (chorus)
Sitting in your high chair
Can't you see that change is in the air Constitution - Constitution - Constitution Man - Yes I am
It's coming from the left Constitution - Constitution - Constitution Man
It's coming from the right
I have the right to party each and every night (chorus) You can't hold me back
It's the same old story - The same old song and dance You can't hold me down
I'm telling you now - You've had you final chance! Time for a Constitution
I've made my final offer To throw away the crown!
One you can't refuse
It's over now if you haven't heard the news We both know it's over
It's too late to go back You can't say we didn't try
To how it was before Remember me with a smile now
You can't get back up when you're lying on the floor When we say good-bye
It's coming from the left Nothing lasts forever
It's coming from the right We know that it's a shame
You want it now - I've had it - You've got yourself a fight!(chorus) Starting over's never easy
